About Us

Dr. Iris L. Flores
A 1982 graduate of the University of Houston - College of Optometry, she served as a Naval Optometrist before moving to Winchester, VA in 1992. She started her own independent Optometry practice in 1993 and moved to the current location in 1997. She loves to provide the best eye care to her patients and enjoys meeting new people everyday. She is a TLC affiliate, providing pre- and post- laser vision correction management on-site. She also Board Certified in the treatment of minor eye disease.

Robert Bossick, R.N.
Bob is a retired Navy operating room nurse and performs the duties of Certified Optician and Bookkeeper. He is also the best cookie baker we know! Oh, and Dr. Flores' husband, as well. (Maybe that's why he wears so many hats???)

Briceida Perez, OA
Bri, as she is better known, is our Senior Optician Apprentice. Experienced and affable, she is also fully bilingual (Spanish). She is Dr. Flores' right hand and the office could not possibly function without her!

Ashley Carlson, OA
Ashley is our junior Optician Apprentice. A very capable young lady, full of life and a joy to be around. She is as capable screening as she is measuring you for glasses, and always with a smile on her face.

Janet Kaczmarzewski, Receptionist
Janet K.'s smile is the first to greet you when you call for an appointment or come through the door. Her gentle and friendly demeanor will put you immediately at ease. She'll also make sure you leave in better spirits than when you came in!

Lynette Carlisle
Our outstanding Practice Manager and Marketing Coordinator, Lynette has over 20 years of experience in the Optical field and also assists Bri and Ashley in their duties.
